Thessaloniki
Thessaloniki (airport) at 87 km. It is the second largest city in Greece, a splendid metropolis where tourists have the chance to get in direct contact with the beautiful life of the Greeks. With about one million inhabitants, Thessaloniki is considered to be the cultural capital of Greece, being famous for its festivals, joyful events, but also for its vibrant and energetic life. Thessaloniki is a city with a history that continues for 3000 years, the Byzantine, Ottoman and Jewish past still dominates.

Poligiros
Poligiros (capital of the Halkidiki region) at 30 km. Polygyros is famous for its carnival celebrations, which attracts visitors from all over Greek A nearby location called Panagia (Virgin Mary) is the setting of a famous religious celebration on August 15. Also, cultural societies are active in the fields of folk music and dance. Classic and modern music is cultivated in the municipal conservatory. There is a Folklore Museum in the town, opened in 1998.

Agios Ioannis Beach

Ormos Panagias

Ormos Panagias is a fishing village with a special charm, where the beach has the Blue Flag award becoming very popular, for the fine sand and crystal clean waters. The village is famous especially as a starting point for cruises to Mount Athos, in the morning departing from here boats to stone monasteries, over 1500 years old.
